Privacy Policy

This policy explains what inDemo ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and product, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@indemo.ai.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email, and organization when you sign up.
• Product content — the walkthroughs, recordings, and demo scripts you create, and the URLs and login credentials you connect so inDemo can drive your product.
• Demo recordings — recordings, transcripts, and metadata of the live demos inDemo runs for your leads.
• Usage data — logs, device and browser information, and analytics about how the service is used.
• Billing data — handled by our payment processor (Polar). We receive your plan and billing status, not your full card number.

How we use it

• To provide, operate, and improve the service.
• To run demos, generate recaps, and follow up with leads on your behalf.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
• To communicate with you about your account and support requests.

We do not sell your personal data.

Google user data

Connecting a Google account is optional, and exists for one reason: so demo recap emails go out from your own address instead of ours. If you connect one, inDemo requests exactly two scopes and uses each only for the purpose named here.

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send — used solely to send demo recap and follow-up emails from your address, triggered by you or by a demo your rep has run. This scope grants no read access: inDemo cannot read, search, download, or delete anything in your mailbox, and does not attempt to.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — used solely to display which Google account is connected, so you can confirm the right one is sending.

We store the refresh token Google issues, encrypted at rest, and the connected email address. We store no message content. Revoking access in your Google account permissions, or disconnecting in inDemo's settings, ends this access and deletes the stored token.

inDemo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: we do not use Google user data for advertising or serving ads; we do not sell it; we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve this feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Google user data is never used to train machine-learning models, and is never shared with the AI providers listed in our DPA.

Credentials you connect

Credentials you provide so inDemo can log into your product are encrypted at rest and used only to drive demos of your product. We never expose them to your leads or to other customers.

Cookies and website analytics

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt), to understand how people use this website — which pages they read, what they click, and where they came from. PostHog sets first-party cookies so we can recognise a returning visitor, and records your IP address, which gives us an approximate location (country and city). If you'd like your analytics data deleted, email support@indemo.ai and we'll remove it.

We do not record session replays on this website, we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share this data with ad networks. Blocking it with tracking protection or an ad blocker breaks nothing — the site works the same.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run inDemo (for example hosting, storage, and payments), under contracts that require them to protect it, and when required by law.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing us. Some records may be retained where the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@indemo.ai.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive fields. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
