Why we built this
Somebody lands on your pricing page at 11pm, genuinely interested, and the best you can offer is a form and a calendar link. By the time the call happens — if it happens — the moment is gone.
The gap
Every SaaS company has the same leak. Interest peaks the instant someone finishes reading your site. Then it decays: through the form, through the wait, through the reschedule, through the "let me loop in my colleague". The demo eventually happens at the lowest point on that curve, and everyone treats the drop-off as normal.
The usual fixes trade one thing away to fix another. A recorded video is always available but never answers a question. An interactive product tour is clickable but it's a mockup — it can't show your real data or handle "what happens if I do this instead". A human rep is the real thing, but a human rep sleeps, and there is exactly one of them per demo.
What we did instead
inDemo drives your actual product in a real browser. Not screenshots, not a clone — your app, logged in, clicking through the flow while narrating out loud. It answers questions mid-demo from your own docs, hands the controls over when the prospect wants to try it themselves, and picks the thread back up afterwards.
You teach it once, by handing it a recording of a demo you already give. It works out the clicks, the order, and the talk track from that, and drafts the script for you to approve. Then it runs that demo for every lead who asks, simultaneously, at any hour.
What we believe
- The real product is the best pitch. Anything that demos a facsimile is fighting a losing battle against the first five minutes of actual use.
- Constrained beats clever. A demo agent that can improvise is a demo agent that can embarrass you. Ours is fenced to your app by code, not by instructions, and answers only from what you taught it. The boring guarantee is the valuable one.
- Say the unflattering thing early. We publish what we don't have on our security page because finding out late wastes more of your time than ours.
- Every demo should teach you something. Questions your leads ask are the highest-signal product research you will ever get, and they're normally lost the moment the call ends. We rank them and hand them back.
Where we are
Early. The product is live and running real demos, and it gets meaningfully better every week — a nightly pass reads the demos that happened, tunes the agenda, and reverts any change that measured worse. Questions it couldn't answer become gaps a human fills in, and the next demo is better for it.
Being early means you can still change what gets built. If you're using inDemo and something is missing, say so — right now that's a conversation with the people writing the code, not a ticket in a queue.
